ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX · ECO, HERO and SUPER · 48V to 72V
From a commuter to 6 kW and 80 km/h plus, with the controller the OX should have had.
ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX is a plug and play controller upgrade kit for the INOKIM OX scooter. The ASI BAC855 replaces the stock controller under the deck, and how much it gives depends on your battery: 1.5 kW on the original OX ECO pack, 2.65 kW on the SUPER, and up to 6.25 kW on a 72V battery that can deliver 100 A.
Nothing is soldered. You open the bottom of the scooter, swap the controller, fit the new throttle or display, and an ElectricGen engineer tunes the BAC855 to your battery in a remote session that comes with the kit.
What ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX changes on the scooter
The OX motor has far more in it than the stock controller lets out. ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX drives it with sensorless field oriented control, so the same motor pulls harder, runs smoother and goes a great deal faster.
Power
Up to four times the output
The stock OX runs around 1.5 kW. With a battery that can deliver the current, the BAC855 is set to 5.5 kW on 60V and 6.25 kW on 72V, and even the original packs gain torque and top speed.
Control
Field oriented, sensorless
ASI’s FOC reads the motor itself, so the throttle feels linear from a standstill and the motor runs quietly at every speed. Auto tuning means nothing for you to set up.
Battery
Any pack from 48V to 72V
The kit runs a 48V ECO pack, a 60V HERO or SUPER pack, or a 60V or 72V custom battery. With Dash Pro the voltage setting is on the bars, so a battery upgrade later is a setting.
Assist
Three levels, in percent
Level 1 at 35 percent, level 2 at 65, level 3 at 100 percent of the controller’s power. Each level limits speed and torque together, and each is yours to change on the display.
Cooling
Motor radiator, optional
An aluminium radiator in black or orange adds cooling area to the OX motor and lets the airflow carry heat away. Recommended with the custom battery settings.
Limits
EU version available
The EU version adds a connector that caps the scooter at 25 km/h for use where that limit applies. The cap sits on its own connector, so it can be fitted or removed.

Power and speed by battery
The controller is the same in every ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX kit. What changes is how hard we let it pull, and that depends on what your battery can give. Speeds below were measured with a 65 kg rider.
| Battery | Controller setting | Top speed, measured |
|---|---|---|
| Original OX ECO, 48V 13Ah | 1,520 W | about 54 km/h |
| Original OX HERO, 60V 13Ah | 1,835 W | about 60 km/h |
| Original OX SUPER, 60V 21Ah | 2,650 W | about 72 km/h |
| Custom 60V battery, 100 A or more | 5,500 W | about 78 km/h |
| Custom 72V battery, 100 A or more | 6,250 W | about 83 km/h |
How you answer Your battery depends on the display. With FabiRide Dash Pro choose the range, 48V to 72V, tell us which pack you ride today during the tuning session, and change the battery voltage setting yourself when you move to a 72V 35Ah battery later. With Eggrider V2 or the NONE option pick the exact battery from the list, because the controller is tuned for that pack.
For the two custom settings the battery must be able to deliver at least 100 A. Our 60V 25Ah 10 kW and 72V 35Ah 20 kW Samsung packs are built for exactly that.
Choose your display: FabiRide Dash Pro, Eggrider V2 or your own
The Display option decides what you see on the bars and how much of the ASI you can change yourself. Every ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX ships tuned and ready to ride whichever display you pick, but only one of them talks back to the controller.

FabiRide Dash Pro
A colour touchscreen that reads the ASI and writes settings back to it, from the bars or from the free FabiRide app. It also carries your phone: calls, messages and music appear on the display. See the full Dash Pro feature list.

Eggrider V2
A compact display with a button that switches the controller on and off and a phone app for the basic readings. A good fit if you want the power and not the screen. Eggrider V2 details.
The kit replaces the original OX throttle, because the display and its throttle come as one unit. The APT 750C is not offered with this kit at the moment. If you do not want a display at all, choose NONE: you get a throttle with an on and off button and a small LED readout that shows battery voltage.
What Dash Pro adds to the ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX
Most displays only show numbers. Dash Pro changes them. On an ASI BAC controller every one of these works, because the display talks to the controller in both directions.
Tune from the bars
Power, speed and assist levels
- Edit the assist levels in percent and the power and speed behind them
- Up to ten riding maps, each with its own speed, power and regen
- Pin one map so the bike always starts there
Battery voltage
Run anything from 48V to 72V
- The battery voltage setting is yours to change in Dash Pro, so one kit follows you from a 48V pack to 52V, 60V or 72V
- Swap batteries without sending the controller back for reprogramming
- Choose 48V to 72V in the battery selector; that option exists for Dash Pro only
Limiter
A cap you lift with one press
- Set a speed and power ceiling for the road, the kids or a new rider
- Lift it again from the handlebar remote
- Per rider ceilings stay on the bike
Reverse
Reverse gear from the bars
- Select reverse from the handlebar buttons, the ASI does the rest
- Walk the bike backwards out of a rut or off a trailer
- A live indicator on the dashboard shows when reverse is engaged
Phone on the bars
Calls, messages, music
- Answer or reject calls from the handlebar remote
- Read incoming messages on the display
- Skip tracks and change volume without touching the phone
Safety and trips
Crash detection and ride history
- Crash detection sends an SOS with your location to your emergency contacts
- Every ride is recorded with its route on a map
- Full statistics per trip in the app
Reverse gear is one more thing Dash Pro adds on the INOKIM. Select it from the bars and the scooter rolls backwards out of a lift, a hallway or a parking rack instead of you lifting it.

The FabiRide app is free on iPhone and Android, and the same account opens in any browser. Settings and ride history live in the account, so a new phone loses nothing.
01

A short wizard connects the display to the ASI and asks only about things your bike has.
02
Tune
Riding maps, battery voltage, assist levels, throttle and brake feel, all written to the controller.
03
Share
Add riders with their own ceilings. The bike remembers who is on it.

Fitting the ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX
01
Remove the stock controller
Open the bottom of the scooter, disconnect the battery and unplug the stock controller. No connector is cut.
02
Plug in the loom
Plug the new loom into the motor phases, battery, brake and the new throttle or display. Every lead matches an OX connector.
03
Mount and route
Sit the BAC855 where the old controller was, close the deck, and fit the throttle or display on the bars. The controller is 81 x 55 x 39 mm and weighs 300 g.
04
Remote tuning session
Book the session that comes with every kit. An ElectricGen engineer connects to the controller, checks your installation, and tunes the settings to your battery, your riding and your terrain.
Keep it dry. The controller and its white signal connector must be protected from dirt and water during and after the installation. Water inside that connector is the one failure the kit cannot protect itself against.

Questions before you order
Does ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX work with my original battery?
Yes. On the ECO pack it is set to 1,520 W, on the HERO to 1,835 W and on the SUPER to 2,650 W. All three gain torque and top speed over the stock controller. For 5.5 kW or 6.25 kW you need a 60V or 72V battery that can deliver 100 A.
Why is there a 48V to 72V option in the battery list?
It is for FabiRide Dash Pro only. Dash Pro lets you change the battery voltage setting of ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX yourself, so the kit does not need to be tied to one pack. With Eggrider V2 or without a display, choose the exact battery you ride and we configure the controller for it.
Do I need to replace the throttle?
Yes. The display and its throttle come as one unit, so the original OX throttle comes off. If you choose NONE you still get a new throttle, with an on and off button and an LED voltage readout.
What does the EU version do?
It adds a connector that caps the scooter at 25 km/h, for riders in places where that limit applies to e-scooters. The cap sits on its own connector on the controller, so it can be fitted or removed.
Is the motor radiator necessary?
Not on the original packs. At 5.5 kW and 6.25 kW the motor works hard, and the radiator adds cooling area so it stays in its comfortable range for longer. Pick black or orange to match your scooter.
Do I have to solder anything?
No. The loom of ASI BAC855 for INOKIM OX matches the OX connectors, the controller arrives configured, and the display plugs into the loom. You open the deck, swap the controller and close it again.
